BENEFITS
Industry leading with
long term incentivies
The ADME scientist will use strong communication skills and data visualization techniques to inform multi-property optimization and compound selection and assess developability challenges for drug discovery teams. The scientist will also initiate and lead innovative ADME research efforts to advance the knowledge of structure-property-relationships, in vitro, in vivo and computational methodologies, mechanistic understanding of drug clearance pathways and the translation of preclinical data including the use of physiologically-based and mechanistic PK models.
Partner with cross-functional colleagues including Toxicology, PKPD, Biology and Medicinal Chemistry to assess and, where possible, ameliorate druggability and development risk through effectual data analyses and study conduct
Provide accountability for the design, execution oversight, interpretation, and reporting of preclinical ADME-PK and PK/PD studies with internal and external partners, both locally and globally
Ph.D. degree in Drug Metabolism, Pharmacokinetics, or Pharmaceutics, or an advanced degree in a related science with extensive training in the field of drug metabolism and disposition
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including ability and willingness to work between global settings
Experience with mechanisms of permeation across biological barriers including the blood-brain-barrier, the influence and role of P-gp and physical-chemical-properties to optimize tissue permeation and unbound tissue concentration
